Cllr. Rigby

Cllr Ian Rigby was elected in 2019 to represent Simonswood as part of the then Bickerstaffe Ward.  Following the Boundary review in 2023, the Ward was expanded and renamed as Rural South, and is now represented by 3 Borough Councillors.  Cllr Rigby, a member of the Our West Lancashire Group, was re-elected in 2023 and is due to serve as the Ward Councillor until 2027.  Resident in Bickerstaffe, he has strong local knowledge and is a regular attendee of the Parish Council meetings, working with the Parish Councillors to address concerns raised in the Parish.  You can meet him at the Parish Council meetings or can contact him directly by email.
